- The Competition is open to all children aged 9 – 12 years.
- The entry should be the child's original unaided work.
- It will be on the theme The River.
- Entries can be a) short story of no more than 1,500 words long or b) artwork, no bigger than A3 size (unframed/unmounted).
- Each entry to be accompanied by a completed entry form.
- All entries can be submitted by post or dropped into Gort Library marked for the attention of Guaire Magazine Children's Creative Arts Competition. Short stories can also be submitted by email to guairemagazine@gmail.com
- The closing date is Thursday 30th April 2020 the short list and winners will be announced in June 2020.
- The winning entries will be published in the 2020 edition of the magazine. In addition, submitted entries may be published in subsequent issues of Guaire Magazine or affiliated non-profit publications.
